Focus prayer points:
- Decide to stop a life of sin and ask for God’s forgiveness for yourself, family and Nation.
- Ask for grace to follow Jesus wholeheartedly and to Fast faithfully for 21 days
- Ask for renewal and restoration of your spiritual and physical strength daily.
- Ask for extra grace and oil to continue to follow and serve Jesus fervently and zealously even when life is very hard.
Day 3: Pray for leaders of the Church and those in authority in the city of Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada and the rest of the world
Pray for healing, deliverance, salvation, wisdom, direction, right decision and protection for leaders.
- Wisdom & Integrity: Pray for discernment, knowledge, and courage to make godly decisions, acting with honor and trustworthiness (Proverbs 22:29, 1 Kings 3:9).
- Justice & Righteousness: Ask for leaders to promote justice, reward good, and suppress evil, upholding righteousness (Psalm 72, Romans 13:3-4).
- Accountability: Pray they remember they are accountable to God for their leadership and decisions (Proverbs 21:1, Daniel 4:17).
- Protection: Ask for protection from wicked counsel, greed, and corruption, and for their families (Proverbs 25:5, Deuteronomy 17:16-17).
- Godly Influence: Pray they lead by example, inspire diligence, and recognize their role as God’s servants for the common good (Romans 13:6, 2 Peter 2:13-17).

1. Prayers for Local Churches in Winnipeg & Manitoba
- For Revitalization and Hope: Lord, we lift up the churches across Manitoba facing shrinking congregations and financial strain, especially in rural areas (Prairie to Pine region). We pray for a fresh outpouring of Your Spirit to bring renewal, hope, and new life to these congregations.
- For Pastoral Leadership & Provision: Father, we pray for pastors and lay leaders, particularly in small rural communities struggling to find leadership. Strengthen them, prevent burnout, and provide for their needs. We ask for a new wave of bivocational ministers who can lead with wisdom and endurance.
- For Community Integration & Relevance: Lord, help our churches move beyond their walls to be deeply integrated into their neighborhoods. Give congregations the creativity to repurpose their spaces to serve their communities and to be, as in early times, hubs of hospitality and faith.
- For Wisdom in Stewardship: We pray for wisdom for church leadership regarding aging buildings. Guide them in decisions about maintenance, renting, or sharing facilities to ensure resources are focused on ministry rather than just structure.
2. Prayers for Para-Ministries & Outreach
- For Inner-City Missions & Safety: We pray for ministries like Union Gospel Mission and Siloam Mission in Winnipeg. Protect staff and volunteers, and empower them to show the love of Jesus to the vulnerable, the homeless, and those battling addictions.
- For Reconciliation and Indigenous Ministries: Lord, we pray for continued, sincere efforts toward reconciliation with Indigenous communities in Manitoba. May churches, and para-ministries, be agents of healing, truth, and genuine relationship, moving beyond programs to true partnership.
- For Impact on Poverty and Housing: We lift up organizations working on housing crises and poverty reduction, particularly for the overrepresented Indigenous population in downtown Winnipeg. Give them favor and resources to bring stability to families.

- For Unity Across Denominations: Father, we pray for the unity of the Church in Manitoba. We break the spirit of division and denominational strife. Help us to work together, as a single, united Body, to fight for justice and share the gospel across our province.
- For Engagement with Contemporary Challenges: Lord, give your Church the wisdom to navigate a secularizing culture, including issues regarding AI, truth, and moral authority. Help us to be a steady, loving voice in Manitoba.
- For Increased Evangelism and New Church Planting: We pray for a passion for the Gospel. We lift up initiatives for church planting as a new form of evangelism to reach the unchurched in Manitoba.
4. A Personal Prayer for Ministry
- Lord, thank you for the privilege of serving in your Kingdom. Help me to be Your hands and feet in Winnipeg. Give me the grace to serve my community well through my Church and Ministry and to use my unique gifts to further your work, making Your love known and felt in all I do in Jesus Name. Amen.
